At IASTM-TOOLS, every tool is created through a unique combination of clinical experience and metalworking craftsmanship.

I am a trained massage therapist, a physiotherapy student, and an experienced metal fabricator from Finland. During my massage therapy education, I was introduced to Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and became interested in the tools used in manual therapy.

With a background in metalworking, I noticed that there were very few handcrafted IASTM tools available. I began designing, testing, and refining different shapes with one goal in mind: creating versatile, durable tools that work effectively across the entire body.

After extensive development and practical use, I created two carefully designed models that combine functionality, ergonomics, and durability.

Each tool is made from Finnish stainless steel and individually finished by hand in Finland. Because every tool goes through a hands-on finishing process, no two tools are exactly alike. The result is a high-quality professional instrument designed to support manual therapists in their daily work.

Today, our tools are trusted by hundreds of massage therapists, physiotherapists, and other manual therapy professionals across Finland, with approximately 200 tools sold to date.
